 “LOST NEIGHBORHOODS | Celebrating Portsmouth’s Past”

“Lost Neighborhoods”, an art exhibition at Portsmouth Historical Society which celebrates Portsmouth”s past - the small communities that included many immigrant families in the North End and South End, that made Portsmouth what it is today. These areas were part of the demolition during Urban Development and the real story is not just the lost real estate but the dislocation of the tight-knit communities and families.
The exhibit runs from November 24 through December 30, 2023.
